I think it’s common knowledge that
If you want to build a habit
You have to practice the desired action
For twenty-one days in a row
I’ve also been told that to provoke a
Psychological breakthrough
You have to practice one action
For thirty days in a row
That’s what I’m attempting to do
For the first time in my life
I don’t usually consciously
Provoke breakthroughs
The ways those usually
Come about is: something
Horrible, painful, devastating, enraging
Occurs and I break into a million pieces
And after time passes the breakthrough
Slowly creeps in and builds into a
Valuable life lesson
This may or may not be common
Knowledge but
Breakdowns = Breakthroughs
So anyway, this
thirty day breakthrough challenge
Is going on right now
I made a commitment to myself
To post a blog
Every day for thirty days
And to feel happy while I'm doing it
What kind of breakthrough
Do I intend to have by the end of the
Thirty days?
Honestly, I have no clue
And will I recognize the breakthrough
If one does occur?
Well, I don’t know neither
BUT, one thing I do know is
That by the end of the thirty days
I will have posted thirty blogs
in a row and I will have kept
My word, so in that case
I’m already winning
